Goalism

Privacy Policy

Effective 4 September 2026

Goalism has no servers and no accounts. Everything you put into it stays on your iPhone. We could not look at your data if we wanted to, because it never reaches us.

What we collect

Nothing. There is no sign-up, no login, and no analytics. Goalism contains no advertising SDK, no tracking SDK, and no crash-reporting service. We run no server that receives anything from the app.

What stays on your device

These live in a private container on your device, shared between the app and its block-screen extensions. Deleting Goalism deletes all of it. We keep no backup, because there is nowhere for a backup to go.

Screen Time

Goalism uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) API for one purpose: letting you block your own apps on your own device. Your usage history stays with Apple and is never shared with us. The app cannot browse what you use — it only knows how many times its own block screen appeared.

Photos

If you attach a photo to a goal, a copy is saved inside the app's storage on your device so the block screen can show it. It is never uploaded.

Notifications

Notifications are created locally by the app on your device. There is no push server.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, your payment details, or your Apple Account. Apple tells the app one thing only: whether a valid purchase exists. Apple's handling of the transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Sharing and selling

We share nothing and sell nothing, because we hold nothing.

Children

Goalism is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone of any age.
