Terms of Use

Goalism blocks the apps you choose, when you choose, and shows you the goal you wrote for yourself instead. Using it means agreeing to what follows.

What Goalism does

You pick apps and hours. When you open a blocked app during those hours, Goalism replaces it with your own goal. There is a deliberate way past it, because a wall with no door only teaches people to switch the whole thing off.

What Goalism is not

It is not a medical device, not therapy, and not a treatment for any condition. It is a tool for managing your own attention. Nothing in the app is professional advice.

Subscriptions

Goalism Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown inside the app in your local currency before you buy.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the price of the plan you chose.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

The lifetime unlock is a single payment with no renewal. All purchases restore on any device signed in to the same Apple Account, through the Restore button on the paywall.

Refunds

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are Apple's to grant. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

Your content

The goals and photos you add are yours and stay on your device. We claim no rights over them and have no way to reach them. Keeping your own copy of anything you care about is your responsibility — deleting the app deletes everything in it.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to use Goalism to restrict a device belonging to someone else without their knowledge. Apple's Screen Time API is provided for managing your own device or a device you supervise as a parent or guardian.

No warranty

Goalism is provided as it is. Blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time system, on iOS, and on your device — we cannot promise it will work without interruption, or that a determined person cannot get around it. To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any loss arising from using or being unable to use the app.

Changes

These terms may change as the app changes. The effective date above marks the current version; continuing to use Goalism after a change means accepting it.

Where these terms are silent, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
